Medical and surgical care of the foot and ankle
Elective reconstructive surgery, emergent trauma care (repair of fractures and torn tendons/ligaments), and infections and wounds that require surgery.

Diabetic foot care
The diabetic patient needs special attention regarding their feet. Dr. Fishco can evaluate your circulation and nerve function of your feet and can perform regular care to prevent severe complications, such as infection and amputation.

Disorders of the skin and nail (rashes, infections, warts, cysts, ingrown nails)
Dr. Fishco can diagnose and treat diseases of the skin such as eczema, fungal infections, bacterial infections, diabetic wounds, warts, cysts and ingrown toenails. The treatments may include antibiotics, antifungals, in-office procedures such as excision of skin tags, warts, cysts, and removal of ingrown toenails.

Sports injuries
Running and sports related injuries to the lower extremity are common. Dr. Fishco is trained and experienced to identify and treat sports related injuries. The most common problems include: tendinitis, stress fractures, heel pain, bunions, and shin splints.

Computerized orthotic scanning
Orthotics are medical devices that go into ones shoes that are designed to give arch support and control the function of your feet. I have the ability to use a digital scanner to make customized orthotic devices. I can also use plaster to mold feet for an impression. Computerized scanning is very accurate and quick and there is no messy plaster material to use.

Digital X-rays
Dr. Fishco can take x-rays in the office. Any suspected fracture or injury to the foot and/or ankle can be promptly treated without having to go to the emergency room. Our Phoenix and Anthem offices have been upgraded to provide digital x-rays.

Second opinions
You may be referred to Dr. Fishco by your podiatrist or orthopedist for a second opinion or to be evaluated for specialized surgery. Dr. Fishco has extensive surgical training and experience in revision of failed surgeries and surgical correction of complicated deformities. Dr. Fishco has patients referred from all over Arizona and even from out of state. If you are referred to Dr. Fishco, please bring your x-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and any other testing materials that you may have for him to review.

Revision surgery
Dr. Fishco has extensive experience in revision surgery. If your original surgery did not alleviate your pain and/or deformity, then Dr. Fishco can evaluate you and propose appropriate treatment.
